Jay Abramowitz graduated from Wesleyan University and attended the UCLA School of Film & Television. He has written and produced a dozen situation comedies, as well as comedy pilots for CBS and ABC. Abramowitz was head writer on the animated PBS series "Liberty’s Kids," an account of the American Revolution blending fact, fiction and comedy and featuring the voices of, among many others, Dustin Hoffman, Annette Bening and Walter Cronkite. His short stories have been featured in the literary journal 34 Orchard and on the website HollywoodDementia.com. He published his first novel, "Formerly Cool" (written with Tom Musca), in 2019. Abramowitz has met Willie Mays twice, grew up in The Bronx and still has some of the plastic monster models he assembled and painted there. He is not embarrassed to have you read this story.
